Evil! When you think of evil, what comes to mind? Where would you say you encounter evil in your life or in the world? Our passage today is one of the passages where Jesus casts out demons. Most of us probably find these passages strange at best, or maybe we just gloss over them, not really considering them. I would guess that most of us would say that there is evil in the world. I think passages like the one we consider this week call us to not only take evil seriously, but consider how we respond to the evil we encounter.
