Like in the sermon on the mount, during the sermon on the plain Jesus challenged us to love our enemies. There may not be a more difficult aspect of Jesus' teaching to embrace, much less carry out. Jesus talked about being people who grab the initiative in our love for others. What do you think of that idea of grabbing the initiative in our love for other people, even our enemies?
