This week we consider the one biblical story about Jesus' years growing up. I don't know about you, but I find it an intriguing story. What do you make of this story? What does it teach us about God, Jesus, our own faith journey? This time around the phrase that caught my attention was: "I had to be here." That is what Jesus said to his parents when they found him in the temple. Jesus felt that he had to be there. When we think about our own lives, what do we sense that we have to do? Why? What makes those 'have to do' things so critical, so meaningful, so life-giving?
