The season of Lent...the season of preparation and introspection as we journey with Jesus towards the cross begins on Wednesday, March 5 with Ash Wednesday and continues through Easter.
This year we'll have two study groups meeting during the weeks of Lent--opportunities to dig deeper with others in scripture as we seek to understand the messy mystery of sacrifice and resurrection better together. Both groups will be working through a study from the "Everything Happens Project" called "The Hardest Part: Hurt we Carry; Hope we Find".
One group will be meeting Tuesday afternoons at 2:30 p.m. in the Sunroom of the church, begining March 4, and will be led by Barb Snyder.
One group will be meeting Thursday evenings 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Chamberlain's home, led by Gretchen. Please contact Gretchen or the church office if you plan to attend this group.
This group is open to both men and women, high school youth through adults. Can't come every week? That's alright--come when you can.
