This section instructs the Jewish people to remember "The Passover", that day, when at great cost, God removed the Israelite people from oppression, slavery, stuck-ness. The Passover created practices designed to help the people of God remember the saving, gracious work of God. The practices also remind us of the great cost often required to be set free. This week as we begin our Lenten journey, what practices might we remember or develop that aid us in celebrating God's faithful saving work in our life and in our communities?
